The Graphic Communications program offers comprehensive training in visual design and digital imaging over a two-year, four-course curriculum where students can earn industry-recognized credentials. Students develop technical skills for creating impactful graphics, marketing materials, and multimedia for print and digital platforms.

The curriculum covers principles of advertising, visual communications, branding, and understanding target audiences. Students learn design elements like color theory, typography, composition, and drawing. They gain expertise in the creative process - researching concepts, developing strategies, and producing final products adhering to copyright laws. Technical skills include layout using workflow software, logo/packaging design, image editing, resolution, color correction, file compression, and collaborative workflows with artists and developers. Throughout the program, students critique designs, apply marketing perspectives and create portfolios showcasing their printed and electronic products for specific purposes and audiences.
