Course Descriptions
This course aims to equip high school students with the knowledge, skills, and resilience to manage and prevent crises effectively. Focusing on mental health, conflict resolution, substance abuse prevention, and emergency response, the course is designed to align with the National Health Education Standards (NHES).
This high-energy, performance-based course focuses on developing the physical attributes necessary for athletic performance and overall fitness. Students will engage in targeted training to enhance strength, speed, agility, and quickness (SSAQ).
This class is centered around various forms of group fitness classes. In this class we will be doing exercises such as yoga, pilates, BARRE, dance fitness, "Burn" which incorporates cardio and strength training, and meditation.
This advanced course builds on the principles introduced in Personal Fitness & Weight Training 1.0. Students will focus on refining techniques in aerobic and strength conditioning while implementing more specialized and challenging fitness routines.
Designed for students who want to advance their basketball skills and fitness levels, this course builds on the fundamentals covered in Basketball and Fitness 1.0. Students will refine techniques, explore advanced game strategies, and engage in competitive play.
Building on the foundation of Physical Education 1.0, this course offers students an opportunity to further develop their fitness, teamwork, and skills through a wider variety of activities and sports.
Health is a required course that includes the study of body systems, substance abuse, human sexuality (including transmitted diseases), CPR, and basic first aid.

This course combines basketball skill development with a focus on personal fitness. Students will learn and practice fundamental basketball techniques, game strategies, and teamwork while participating in fitness activities designed to improve overall health and athletic performance.
Students in this course will participate in a variety of activities and sports, focusing on individual fitness and leisure time activities. Students are expected to participate on a daily basis in all activities. All classes are co-educational.
